Foundation for African Children Education (FACE) was started in 2006 in Vancouver, BC, Canada. It is a subsidiary of Focus on Africa Society which is a registered Canadian charity (CRA). FACE aims to provide opportunities for children in rural parts of Africa, who could otherwise not be able to go to school, to attend school.
We believe that every child should have the opportunity to attend primary school as a starting point. We are convinced that education is the best way to break the cycle of poverty for children in rural areas of Africa. It is well understood that poor uneducated children grow up to be poor uneducated adults. Children of poor families are less likely to enroll in and complete schooling because of the associated costs of attending school.

You can get involved! Opportunities are available to sponsor a child or to volunteer to deliver school kits to children in Africa. If you would like to donate or volunteer, please contact us.
